Hello Lovely Ladies!
Today I have a look for you that is very fun and playful. As you can see below I'm a lot darker in these pictures than I usually am. Thats because I got a Mystic tan! I do Mystics once every two weeks - once a month. I love them because they are safe for my skin, moisturizing and give me that instant glow without laying in a tanning bed or going in the sun. If you haven't tried it before I would definately suggest doing one. I always get the 'Light Clear'. The clear gradually gets darker over a period of six hours. Here is some more information if you are interested. For my eyes in this look I did a light gray cat wing with some gold glitter liner and some large natural lashes! Please read on for more information on how to get this look!
What you will need:
Liquid Liner- Any kind works but I used Revlon
Gold Liquid Liner~ I used Elf in gold
Eyeshadows~ All MAC in Carbon, Knight Divine, Orb & Silver Ring
Step 1. Apply Orb all over lid and under eyebrows this is a good base for the eyes
Step 2. Apply Knight Devine with your BB angle brush in outer corners creating a > shape
Step 3. Apply Carbon in the corner hollow crease of the eye with your BB smudge brush very lightly
Step 4. With your BB blender brush blend Silver ring in the > shape that you did to create a light smoked corner.
Step 5. Pull it all together with a winged black liner that extends out 1cm from the corners to create a cat eye.
Step 6. Line over this with Elf's Gold eyeliner
CALA lashes #31020
These are great lashes for a medium-natural look. They definitely have to be trimmed to fit your eye because they are pretty long for the width of the eye. I always cut a couple centimeters off and apply the part cut off over the ends of the lashes to double the ends of the fake lash and give them a cat eye effect.
Apply with Duo Adhesive- Yes this is the best and ONLY lash glue I use. Why? Because its amazing and comes off so easily at night when I remove my lashes unlike other glues!
7. For the Face~
Chanel 60 Beige Foundation was used for this look
Apply with a lightly damp Beauty Blender for a flawless almost airbrush finish
* Whats this Beauty Blender thing?? A freaquently asked question from people. The Beauty Blender is a non disposable, reuasable sponge that is custom made to flawlessy apply your makeup. Not only can you use it for foundation, but you can use it to apply powder as well as under eye concealer, touch ups on lips and more. It can be washed with makeup remover or a mild cleanser under water and set out to dry.
8. Face Powder in this look is MUFE Translucent Powder.
*What is Translucent Powder?? Translucent powder is completely universal, it gives a translucent finish and is to be applied over foundation or worn alone. It sets the foundation and slightly mattifies the skin without changing its natural contours. It softens the appearance of imperfections while Completely evening out the complexion for a glowing, radiant look.
9. LA Bronzer Is a great mineral Bronzer. I get mine from a cosmetic store in California. I like this bronzer because it is really like and I use it for Contouring because it blends Very well.
In this look I applied it to the hollows of the cheeks, down the sides of my nose, all over my forehead and under my bottom lip.
10. MAC Blush Pink Swoon
Okay so this blush is such a great color for those with darker skin skin, I usually only use it when I have a good base tan like I do here because it is really bright when I have more fair skin. It really pops on complexions that range from medium to dark.
Again for my Highlighter I used my Favorite by Charlotte Ronson, Face and body glow.
Application details found in this post Here
This combination creates the PERFECT Peach Lip, which will and always be my favorite lip color.
*and remember apply your lipstick with you Lip Brush to prevent it getting stuck in those cracks for people with chapped lips! It will go on much smoother and is easier to shape the lips with a brush!
I use BB's lip brush
This one is great because it is slightly tapered so its great for doing detailed lips with color lipsticks, along with lip touch ups! I carry it around with me in my lipstick bag on the go.
Here is what the Elf liner looks like>*Jade's Trick 101~ How do I get this glow down my nose & Upper Lip?
Apply Nylon Eyeshadow (yes shadow) by MAC with a clean blending blush down the bridge of the
nose and on the cupids bow (upper lip)! I do it in every look & can't live without it.
Isn't this jacket amazing? I have a small LuLu Lemon crush and I don't think it will ever fade. Every time I go in there I say I never am going to buy anything and then always walk out with at least one item. Lu-Problems I call it. This was the last one and luckily in my perfect size, I've tried to look for it online but couldn't find it! Here is one similar but a little thicker.
